We are currently seeking a Factory Production Supervisor. This full-time, daytime managerial position will be in a dynamic work environment that encourages new ideas while involving a rigorous aspect of project management.
The candidate will need to work closely with the Operations Manager to optimize production and ensure the company's objectives are met.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees in various departments under your authority to meet work schedules;
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and hygiene standards in the factory;
- Conduct required quality inspections and preliminary checks to ensure the company's quality criteria are met;
- Resolve technical and operational issues in real-time;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes and propose innovative solutions;
- Train and mentor employees to develop their skills and engagement;
- Coordinate preventive maintenance of production equipment;
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production;
- Report on performance and needs to the production manager.
Requirements:
- Experience as a foreman or in a similar role;
- Strong interpersonal communication skills;
- Experience in personnel management;
- Bilingual;
Skills:
- Technically skilled individual with strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and decision-making capabilities;
- Ability to enforce deadlines and maintain a sense of urgency;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Knowledge of construction and welding is an asset.
