Join our team in Vaudreuil-Dorion as a Factory Production Supervisor

We are currently seeking a Factory Production Supervisor. This full-time, daytime managerial position will be in a dynamic work environment that encourages new ideas while involving a rigorous aspect of project management.

The candidate will need to work closely with the Operations Manager to optimize production and ensure the company's objectives are met.

Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees in various departments under your authority to meet work schedules;
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and hygiene standards in the factory;
• Conduct required quality inspections and preliminary checks to ensure the company's quality criteria are met;
• Resolve technical and operational issues in real-time;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes and propose innovative solutions;
• Train and mentor employees to develop their skills and engagement;
• Coordinate preventive maintenance of production equipment;
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production;
• Report on performance and needs to the production manager.

Requirements:

• Experience as a foreman or in a similar role;
• Strong interpersonal communication skills;
• Experience in personnel management;
• Bilingual;

Skills:

• Technically skilled individual with strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and decision-making capabilities;
• Ability to enforce deadlines and maintain a sense of urgency;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Knowledge of construction and welding is an asset.
